Torch Technologies is currently seeking to fill the following position:
Missile Defense Analyst - Mid Level, with interest and expertise in the missile fire control loop.
Analysis of missile defense system fire control and associated functions will be performed to identify deficiencies in existing fire control processing. Deficiencies will be categorized, corrective actions proposed and prototyped, and system specifications will be updated with new requirements. Experience in the analysis of radar, tracking process, and missile guidance and control are a plus. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing data analysis using MATLAB, or Python data analysis tools.
A Bachelors Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited university and 5 to 15 years experience is required. Candidate will work in a multi-contractor/government team, but must be able to complete tasks with little direct supervision.
Position requires that candidate possess a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
