Mid-Level Radar Simulation Engineer (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

Torch Technologies has an immediate opening for a mid-level candidate to perform radar system simulation development and analysis in support of multiple Active Protection System (APS) programs.  Ideally, this candidate will possess 5-10 years experience in the modeling and simulation of radar or RF systems using point-scatter based techniques.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in an applicable engineering discipline is required, a Master's degree or better is preferred.  Also desired is at least 3 years of relevant physics-based radar signature and/or sensor/seeker modeling experience. Desirable technical skills include, medium/high fidelity Modeling & Simulation (M&S), distributed simulation, and C/C++ on both Windows and Linux platforms. The position will require the ability to work effectively with a team and as an individual performer.  Infrequent travel may be required.

The selected candidate for this position should be familiar with radar systems and operations as well as simulation and modeling.  The candidate will be the primary developer and analyst responsible for radar system simulation and signal processing, also providing guidance and
support for Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) efforts as well as interfacing with other simulation components

Position requires that the candidate possess
