Eglin AFB, FL
Torch is currently seeking qualified candidate(s) to support the 780th Test Squadron on the TMAS contract at Eglin AFB in Florida. The 780th Test Squadron has the responsibility to provide support for test events worldwide and is composed of diverse flights overseeing testing of all state-of-the art weapon systems.
• Develop test plans for an emerging weapons program
• Develop test matrices and test cards
• Forecast test assets and range requirements
• Integrate with program offices and prime contractors
BS in Engineering or technical discipline and 3-10 years relevant experience (6 years work experience may be substituted for a BS degree)
• Developmental testing experience (highly desired) or operational testing experience; planning and execution
• Test management experience
• Familiarization with Air Force test processes and regulations
• Familiarization with USAF acquisition enterprise
• Familiarity with the Eglin AFB test enterprise (highly desired)
• Good communication and presentation skills to brief O-6 level decision makers
• Liaison with other agencies within DoD (preferred)
This position requires candidates possess a current Secret security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a Secret security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position. A recent investigation (within 5 years) is highly desired.
