Torch Technologies is currently seeking an experienced engineer with a programming background to fill an immediate opening in a high fidelity Modeling and Simulation environment. Successful candidates will have at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field with at least five years of practical simulation application experience.
Specific experience and interest in some of the following areas is highly desired:
EO/IR Phenomenology and Modeling
EO/IR Sensor Modeling
Signal and Image Processing
C++, Python, and similar programming languages
This is a "ground floor" opportunity, so the successful applicant will need to capable of working independently to develop, maintain, and enhance a synthetic sensor processing integration framework. The successful candidate will be joining a multi-contractor workforce to directly support the government customer in their laboratory. This position may require occasional travel.
This position requires that the candidate possess a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
