Torch Technologies is seeking a senior level EW Systems Engineer to analyze and integrate current fielded and TRL 6+ government/commercial technologies applicable to emerging DoD Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack (EW/EA) ConOps.
Focus of effort will be airborne and ground-based systems, likely employed in a System of Systems construct, to deliver synchronized, precision (time/location) effects in support of tactical ground operations. Group III Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) will be the initial target airborne platform. Candidate must be familiar with the characteristics and constraints of UAS SWaPC, EM propagation, data links, and static and dynamic ground transmission devices, and will have the EW knowledge/experience necessary to visualize/analyze an RF-rich environment representative of current and future battlespace. Working knowledge of multi-service EW/EA concepts, TTPs, and EM threats, as well as passive intel Tasking/Collection/ Processing/Exploitation/Distribution, are desired. The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative multi-service environment composed of Government and Contractor personnel. The candidate must be responsible and accountable for the development and presentation of technical reports and briefings on a regular basis. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interface with Senior Government Leadership, are required. A BS Degree in a related technical discipline and a minimum of 8 years direct experience are required. Advanced degrees and additional experience are advantageous.
