Torch is currently looking for a Junior to Mid-level test analyst to perform detailed communications and interoperability analysis during system-wide flight and ground tests of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) in support of the MDA Test Analysis and Reporting activity. This analytical support will be provided for all phases of system level test events including the pre-mission predictive analysis, on-site quick-look analysis, and post-mission detailed analysis phases of the test process.
Reporting activities will include the generation and presentation of test analysis planning documentation, test readiness briefs, quick look reports and briefs, and detailed analysis reports and briefs. Other activities include establishing requirements for evaluation tools and processes, providing analytical support to the test planning process, and coordination of analytical results within the BMDS community.
All candidates must have a demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets utilizing analysis Software tools. Experience in test analysis of missile defense in the areas of Link-16, Aegis, THAAD, and/or Patriot is desired. Demonstrated self-initiative, leadership, and customer interface skills are essential. Must possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as part of a team, and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline is required with 5- 10 years' experience.
Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
Some travel will be required.
