Eglin AFB, FL
Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support software development, test, simulation, and aircraft and lab integration activities at Eglin Air Force Base (EAFB), Florida. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's desired) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering, and have at least 5 years of experience.
General Experience: Experience in engineering, or related weapon systems development, integration, or test and evaluation field. Experience is required in aircraft stability and control theory, to include classical flight control theory and modern control theory, as it pertains to aircraft performance and aerodynamics analyses. Candidates should be experienced in FORTRAN, C, C++ and MatLab.
Duties: The System Engineer will provide interdisciplinary support across the Gulf Range Drone Control System (GRDCS) technical efforts to assist with the development, verification and validation of the system of systems. Provide systems engineering support across the entire technical effort, develop and analyze technical information to support the program management decision making process. Assist in supporting the various development efforts and phases of GRDCS.
This is a full-time position located at EAFB, FL. Minimal travel is anticipated. Position requires that candidate possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
