In anticipation of visualization and training task awards, Torch Technologies is seeking software developer/engineering candidates to support potentially multiple DOD programs in Huntsville, AL.
Candidates applying for this position will have the opportunity to apply your passion for developing interactive visualization products for the purpose of educating and training both civilians and soldiers using the latest visualization technology (including Unreal Engine, Oculus Rift, etc).
The candidate will work as part of a highly motivated visualization/training team to build high profile products that will ultimately be delivered to Torch Government customers for the purpose of reducing training cost by significantly reducing or eliminating the need for high cost HW trainers. The candidate selected for this position will be required to work closely with a highly motivated team of developers that are challenged daily to produce a wide variety of visualization products. This position will include becoming a task lead over other graphics designers and software developers.
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Software Engineering or Game Development and 5+ years experience.
The position requires that the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final secret security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a secret clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Candidate must be able to travel as needed.
