Logistics Engineer (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

In anticipation of funding, Torch may have an upcoming requirement for a logistics engineer to conduct sustainment planning and analysis for Army aviation platforms.

The logistics engineer will identify, develop, and document logistics plans, recommendations, and requirements.  This can involve conducting provisioning analysis for spares, developing obsolescence mitigation strategies, identifying and defining of repair parts and tools (e.g. RPSTL), analyzing repair strategies, supporting failure analysis, and BOM analysis for new or modified equipment.

The logistics engineer's responsibilities also involve developing, reviewing, updating, providing recommendations on technical documentation such as repair standards, data packages, drawings, specifications, test plans and procedures including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Orders, requests for deviation, waivers, and Technical Directives.

The selected candidate will also develop and presents briefings to senior level management and participates in engineering reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, and CDR). Familiarity with Army logistics and Logistics Management Information systems such as LMP, PowerLOG-J, GFEBS, GCCS are considered beneficial.
A B.S. in Logistics or related discipline and 4 years of related experience is required.  Directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
