Torch has an immediate opening for a mid-to-senior level Security Analyst to implement Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and directives and to provide day-to-day administration of sensitive and classified activities. Knowledge of NISPOM, JPAS, ISFD and other Government databases is required along with procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destroying classified records and documents, and for granting personnel or visitors’ access to classified material or entry into restricted areas. Knowledge, creation, and/or review experience of classification guides is desired. Candidate must be willing to be trained on Technology Protection and also support additional duties, as assigned. Candidate must work independently under minimum supervision, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
Minimum of 5 years of security Information Protection experience is required. Certifications, such as OPSEC Level II, and other security training courses/certificates/BS degree are highly desired. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and an outstanding record of customer support. Current possession of an active Secret clearance (minimum) is required.
Candidate must be able to pass a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and continually maintain a personnel security clearance for the performance of this job. Inability to obtain and hold the required security clearance and maintain access to government facilities will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Candidate will work on government site and support multiple Government facilities.
