seeking an experienced Project Manager/Task Order Lead to support the Space and Missile Defense Command Technical Center.
Candidate must have experience as a Project Manager or Task Order Lead supporting similar technical programs. Experience with modeling and simulation, integration, mission training and planning tools, scenario development, data analytics, decision support tools, cyber network defense, cybersecurity and Information assurance are all highly desired. A strong background in Missile Defense, Tactical Space Operations, and Sensors is highly desired.
Candidate must possess the following demonstrated capabilities: ability to provide technical, budget, and management support to the Government Lead, the Contracting Officer, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR); provide strategic vision and management of task order execution; budget, staffing, and schedule performance monitoring of overall task order; ability to work at Government site location and coordinate with the Government technical, budget, and contracts personnel; providing technical tasking to team; ability to manage subcontractors; and an understanding of T&M, FFP, and cost-plus contract types. Responsibilities will also include coordination with the Program PM/DPM and Torch Business Unit managers to ensure capabilities are resourced to support the customer; tracking of all contract deliverables to ensure timely delivery; and reporting of task order metrics internally.
Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, technical field highly desired, and 15 years of direct experience required. A Master’s degree is highly desirable, in the technical or management field. Candidate must have 5+ years of experience managing DoD task orders/contracts.Position requires an active security clearance, and an active TS SCI is strongly desired. Inability to maintain or upgrade to the required security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
