Contract/Subcontract Administrator (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

Torch Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated entrepreneurial individual to perform Contract Administration, both corporate and US Government related, in a fast pace Small Business environment under a USG Approved Contract/Purchasing System. Candidate must be a self-starter capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Candidate is required to have a BS/BA in Procurement or related Business Administration field and a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Federal Government Contracts environment.

Successful candidate must be able to perform a variety of functions to administer, monitor and track all contract activity related to but not limited to: T&M, FFP, IDIQ, CPFF, and Task Order contract types; have knowledge of the FAR, DFARs, and other related regulations; and possess the ability to prepare, review, and negotiate various agreements (contracts, subcontracts, consulting agreement, and non-disclosure agreements). Direct experience: with AMCOM, Army, Air Force, SMDC and/or MDA; working under a Government-approved contracts/purchasing system; proposal activities; as well as legal and export compliance, will be considered a plus.

Position requires good communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers. Candidate must be able to work independently and take a proactive role to assure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule.

Experience with the use of Costpoint software acquisition modules required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products to include - Word and Excel.

Position may require that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance if required will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
