Entry Level SW Developer/Analyst (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

In anticipation of 4QFY17 funding, Torch Technologies is seeking an entry level SW developer/analyst to work as part of a team designing, developing, and testing software for major DoD programs. The candidate will be responsible for adapting existing and developing new software to support rapid deployment and sustainment of Missile Defense Systems.

Ideal candidate will be familiar with model-based software development, interface description language (IDL) and transformation of models into executable code. Familiarity with air and missile defense system operations is desired, but not required. Qualified applicants will have good programming skills with experience in C++ and Java preferred, be able to work independently or as part of a collaborative team and take a proactive role to assure that task responsibilities are completed on schedule.

A B.S. degree in math, physics, computer science, or computer engineering from an accredited university is required. Other technical degrees will be considered if the candidate has demonstrated programming expertise. 0 to 5 years experience is desired.

Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
