Network Administrator (Full-time)

Eglin AFB, FL

Torch is currently looking to fill the following position:

Network Administrator

The U.S. Air Force is developing a new Long-Range Stand-Off (LRSO) nuclear missile.  The service plans to field the LRSO by 2030 to replace the current, General Dynamics (now Raytheon) AGM-129A Advanced Cruise Missile (ACM) that originally entered service in 1991.  The Air Force released a request for proposals to industry for the LRSO Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction phase, and is rapidly expanding the LRSO System Program Office (SPO), which is resident at Eglin AFB, Florida.  The LRSO SPO will be the host node of a nationwide, secure network supporting the program, and is actively engaged in building this network.

Responsibilities

This position is resident at Eglin AFB, Florida.  Torch Technologies is seeking a Host Network Administrator for a classified, multi-node, Wide Area Network.  Duties include adding new machines and accounts to classified and unclassified networks, administering network security, and administering network services such as file share creation and maintenance and electronic mail.  Duties will also include troubleshooting network problems and implementing patches and fixes to solve network issues.

Additionally, the Network Administrator shall advise and assist the Government in producing, maintaining, and revising Systems Security Plans in compliance with JAFAN 6/3 and its successor guidance and implementation policies, obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation for Government networks, and providing oversight of third party contractor efforts to achieve ATOs for their systems.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a currently active Top Secret security clearance with a date of investigation within the last five (5) years.  Applicants must be eligible to receive access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).

A Bachelor’s degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience is required.

Applicants must possess a current Security+ CE certification sponsored by Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).

Experience installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and patching/fixing networks is highly desired.  Familiarity with JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, ICD 503, the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and successor guidance and implementation policies is preferred.

Experience with Department of Defense programs and SAP or classified computer networks is highly desired.
