Senior Principal Analyst (Full-time)

Eglin AFB, FL

Torch is currently seeking to fill the following position:

Senior Principal Analyst

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will support USSOCOM Det 1 in all aspects of developing, fielding, and supporting emerging weapon capabilities. The successful candidate shall actively participate in program management, technical, and task order reviews, and weapon tests and demonstrations. The successful candidate shall interface daily with the System Program Office and the prime contractor to ensure logistic requirements are incorporated in program planning. The successful candidate shall advise and assist government engineers in all activities related to managing aircraft maintenance and modification activities, ground and flight testing, and field support. Assistance shall encompass aircraft/weapon integration activities, evaluation of system concepts with regard to logistics suitability, maintainability, and operational effectiveness, and assessment of man-machine interface, interoperability, logistics infrastructure, reliability, and maintainability impacts. The successful candidate shall assist in analyzing technical and engineering data for publication into the military technical orders.

Qualifications: 

The candidate must have a minimum of a masters degree in an applicable discipline and 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft or weapon system maintenance and modification, including C-130s. (A bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR 12 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a masters degree.) Direct experience managing all aspects of maintenance and modification programs is highly desired. In depth knowledge of military maintenance concepts and practices is required. Experience with integration of sensors and weapons is highly desired. Must have working knowledge of military logistics, supply, and technical orders. Must understand and have experience with quality assurance processes and life-cycle management concepts. Experience directing the delivery and assembly of system components and integrating new capabilities onto aircraft are highly desirable. Experience creating integrated schedules, briefings, and other management tools to track and report status is required. Experience with Quick Reaction Capability programs is highly desired. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
