Simulation Software Analyst (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

Simulation Software Analyst
Torch Technologies is seeking an entry to mid-level Simulation Software Analyst. Candidate will work in a multi-contractor/government team: analyzing, integrating, and documenting Air and Missile Defense digital and HWIL simulation software; developing and analyzing data using the software; and developing tools to support the mission.


Key Responsibilities include:

- Obtain and CM the most current simulation software.
- Obtain and integrate third party changes and updates to the software.
- Develop and analyze data in support of the HWIL lab and the THAAD Program Office.
- Develop, maintain, and CM tools in support of the HWIL lab and the THAAD Program Office.
- Maintain and CM legacy tools.


Candidates are required to have education and/or experience in the following areas:

- C++ programming
- Configuration management
- Office software (ex: MS Office or OpenOffice)
- Software documentation


Education or experience in the following areas is preferred:

- C, Fortran, Python, Java programming
- Git version control software
- Verification and validation processes


A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required. Candidate must be comfortable working in a multi-contractor team environment, but be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
