Systems Engineer (Full-time)

Hanscom AFB, MA

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee owned company, is currently seeking to hire a Process Engineer.


Provide Engineering support to the Airborne Warning and Controls Systems (AWACS) program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom AFB, MA.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an IPT environment
  • Ability to interface with internal and external clients
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Support the technical facets of strategy development, technical document development and contract execution activities related to the replacement of Combat ID (CID) hardware and software for the US AWACS fleet.
  • Perform work related to the development, configuration and optimization of IT processes from inception through start u[p and certifications
  • Maintain reliable IT systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields and costs.
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates.
  • Assess processes, take measurements and interpet data.
  • Recommend, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Perform process simulation.
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Perform risk assessments
