Torch Awarded $70M Engineering Support Division (ESD) Task

Huntsville, AL (March 12, 2014)

Torch Technologies is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Engineering Support Division (ESD) Technical Support task order. The task was awarded on Torch’s AMCOM Express Blanket Purchase Agreement and is managed by the Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Engineering Directorate’s Engineering Support Division located on Redstone Arsenal. The task order base, with options, is valued at $70,925,491.

The Engineering Support Division provides critical lifecycle engineering support for a wide range of Warfighter system calibration, test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. ESD has full end-to-end responsibility for the Aviation and Missile Command’s (AMCOM) test and diagnostics capability and serves as the AMCOM Automated Test Equipment (ATE) / Test Program Set (TPS) Center. In addition, ESD serves as the Army’s "Center of Excellence" for the Flexible Engine Diagnostic System (FEDS).
