LRDR Radar System Analyst (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

Torch Technologies is currently seeking to fill the following opening(s):

Torch Technologies is seeking Radar System Analysts with the ability to support new Ballistic Missile Defense System analyses. This position requires collocation with Collaborative Test and Evaluation Center (CTEC) personnel.

Responsibilities will consists of providing radar algorithm testing, and modeling and simulation in support of MDA SN (Sensors) efforts. Support includes evaluation of radar algorithm performance and performing radar LRDR (especially), SBX, AN/TPY-2, etc., data analysis. Knowledge of discrimination techniques, electronic protection, and debris mitigation is highly desired.

This position requires an understanding of radar sensors and related technologies, and the ability to effectively communicate team activities and results to the MDA and AMRDEC customers. Matlab programming experience required and Java and/or C/C++ is highly desired. Modeling and simulation experience is highly desired. Degree in physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.

A  B.S., M.S, and/or PhD in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science plus 0-25 years of related experience is required. Related experience includes areas of modeling and simulation of radar sensors, analysis of radar signatures, and radar data analysis/processing.
