TORCH TECHNOLOGIES SUPPORTS LAWTON COMMUNITY WITH NON-PROFIT DONATIONS
Might CDRC and Lawton Mobile Meals Receive $10,000 gifts

LAWTON, Okla. and Huntsville, Ala., October 29, 2024 – Torch Technologies, one of the nation’s leading defense contractors, today announced $10,000 donations to Might Community Development & Resource Center (CDRC) and Lawton Mobile Means, two nonprofit organizations in the Lawton/Ft. Sill community. “We are proud to be a part of the Lawton/Ft. Sill communities. Torch Technologies has been a tenant of the Fires Innovation Science and Technology Accelerator (FISTA) since January 2023, and we opened the lab that hosts the Soldier Touchpoint Research Center Laboratory earlier this summer,” said Torch President Brad Walker. “As a 100% employee-owned company and Public Benefit Corporation, we are committed to giving back to the community. Working together with non-profits like Might CDRC and Lawton Mobile Meals, we can strengthen our community by helping to meet the needs of its people.” Might CDRC is a faith-based, non-profit organization that works to stabilize the economic and basic needs of families; empower adolescents through encouragement, respect, responsibility, academia, and social skills; and provide quality childcare for children six weeks to 12 years old. The mission of Lawton Mobile Meals is to counteract malnutrition among the elderly and/or disabled homebound persons by delivering one nutritious meal a day/five days a week.
